Mulled wine is a drink that is particularly popular during the cold season, especially at Christmas markets in Bavaria. The annual consumption is around 50 million liters in Germany. Mulled wine may only consist of white wine or red wine, which is enriched with spices and sugar. This enables the industry to sell low-quality wine, which no one else would drink, at Christmas markets at an overpriced price, because visitors seem to like it when it is sweetened and flavored.
As soon as you add other alcohol such as rum, it is no longer a mulled wine, but a punch.

Our mulled wine blend is characterised by high-quality selected ingredients such as citrus peel, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom seeds, which have been perfectly coordinated by us. As soon as you open the packaging, the entire room is filled with an intense Christmas scent.
The composition is rounded off with bourbon vanilla extract, which is obtained by extracting the flavours from the bourbon vanilla pods with alcohol and sugar over a long period of time.

Preparation: add approx. 3 tablespoons of mulled wine spice to 0.7 litres of boiling water and leave to infuse for at least 5 minutes, heat 0.7 litres of wine and mix according to taste. The contents of the bag are sufficient for approx. 4 litres of mulled wine.
Use a good quality wine that you really like. Or without wine, but with rock sugar, simply enjoy as a delicious mulled wine tea.

Our tip: It's best to place a palm-sized bowl in the centre of the room and fill it with some mulled wine spice. This will give you a great natural Christmas scent for days.
