description
Barbecue, also abbreviated to BBQ, is a traditional cooking method used in Southern cuisine
The term "barbecue" is often used for grilling, but is very different. The original barbecue is cooked using special barbecue smokers and the meat is cooked at a moderate temperature for hours.
The "Holy Trinity" is grilled.
This includes:
Beef Brisket
Spareribs of beef or pork
Pulled Pork from the pork neck, which is eaten with coleslaw and sauces in a hamburger bun
Dry spice mixtures, spice preparations or spice salts are used to season the meat, as well as sauces that focus on tomatoes, vinegar or mustard.
Our barbecue spice mix is a mild, perfectly balanced blend that harmonizes particularly well with good barbecued meat. Simply sprinkle on the meat and place the meat in the smoker or oven at a low temperature.
Our tip: Leave the meat in a marinade of vinegar and oil with the barbecue spice mix in the fridge overnight. The vinegar works the spices into the meat even better.
