description
Cranberry jelly extra is from the pure juice of the cranberry.
The cranberry is a plant of the blueberry family and is found in America, Europe and Asia. However, the American variety is more robust and less round and indispensable for Thanksgiving menus. 95% of the world's crops come from the USA and Canada. They are popularly used as a substitute for raisins in stollen.
All of our jellies, jams and marmalades are not mass-produced, but lovingly handcrafted from production to bottling to labeling. The majority of the juices used for our jellies come from Germany.
With over 20 varieties, there is a jelly to suit every taste.
Instead of conventional white sugar, we use only brown cane sugar, giving our cranberry jelly extra not only a much darker and more appealing color visually, but also an incomparable taste with a slight hint of caramel.
Rounded off with fresh lemon juice instead of industrially produced citric acid, the natural acidity of the cranberry and its tart and sour aroma are pleasantly emphasized in taste.
Our cranberry jelly extra is not only a treat on the morning breakfast bread, but also ideal as a filling for cakes, pies, pastries or cookies, but also to refine for pudding or ice cream desserts.
Our tip: Add a little extra cranberry jelly to lamb dishes or braised beef.
In our cute 50g jam jar with fluting, which makes the jar particularly good in the hand. As a tasting jar but also as a small gift always welcome.
